As I photograph a wedding, I try to capture emotions and gestures that are meaningful to the couple. By viewing the images, one can understand the strength of the relationships and the special bond that exists between parents and children.
This wonderful gesture was captured during the speeches. The parents of the bride were expressing their appreciation for the upbringing of the groom by his parents. The groom looked at his mother and extended his arm showing in this way his gratitude.
As a wedding photographer, I understand that I have to anticipate the moments, to clarify them and make them permanent. This requires complete involvement in the moment and also being part of the interaction by feeling what I am looking at.
