BEHIND THE CAMERA
Photography has taught me that the most meaningful moments are rarely the ones we expect.
A beautiful portrait may begin with gentle guidance, but my favorite photographs almost always come afterward—when people forget the camera, turn toward one another, and reveal the relationships that define their lives.
Whether I am photographing a wedding, documenting a Greek Orthodox baptism, or quietly observing a corporate gathering, my goal is the same: to create images that reveal meaningful human connections.
I believe every memorable photograph tells a story of a relationship. It may be the bond between two people, the quiet affection of a parent and child, the traditions that unite a family, or the connection between people and the places that are important to them.
Rather than directing every moment, I prefer to observe patiently. I often begin with a portrait that gives people confidence in front of the camera. Then I wait. Those moments that follow—when conversation replaces posing and genuine emotion begins to unfold—are the photographs I value most.
Before becoming a full-time photographer, I spent ten years working in the corporate world. That experience taught me to listen carefully, understand people, and appreciate the importance of thoughtful preparation. Today, those same qualities shape the way I approach every assignment.
This journal is a collection of the work and ideas that continue to inspire me. Here you’ll find wedding stories, corporate and editorial assignments, Greek Orthodox traditions, personal projects, and reflections on photography. My hope is that these articles offer not only practical guidance, but also a deeper appreciation for the people, places, and moments that make each story unique.
Thank you for visiting.
I hope these photographs encourage you to look beyond the expected moment and discover the meaningful connections that often unfold quietly before us.
